Who performs the treatments?

All services are performed by Shyla Young, BSN, RN, FNP-S. With over 14 years of medical experience, Shyla is a certified nurse injector and laser specialist known for her advanced facial anatomy knowledge, pain-minimizing techniques, and natural-looking results.

What makes Pearl Aesthetix different from other medspas?

We specialize in natural results, education-first care, and advanced techniques that prioritize long-term beauty and wellness. Every treatment is uniquely designed for you—because your face isn’t like anyone else’s, and your results shouldn’t be either.

Wrinkle Relaxer (Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport, Daxxify) FAQs

How long do wrinkle relaxers last?

Botulinum toxin treatments like Jeuveau and Dysport typically last 3–4 months. Daxxify may last up to 6 months depending on the area treated, dosage, metabolism, and lifestyle.

How soon will I see results from my wrinkle relaxers?

You may start seeing results within 3–5 days, with full effects visible by 10–14 days post-treatment.

Does wrinkle relaxer treatment hurt?

Treatments are quick and most clients describe them as a light pinch. We use ultra-fine needles and optional numbing to ensure your comfort.

Can I get wrinkle relaxer and filler on the same day?

Yes! Many clients combine treatments for a balanced, refreshed look. We’ll design your custom treatment plan during consultation.

We offer only FDA-approved fillers including:

Will I look overfilled or unnatural?

Chemical Peels & BioRePeel FAQs

What peels do you offer?

We offer ZO® 3-Step Peel, Jessner, and TCA peels, as well as BioRePeel for all skin types. Peels treat texture, pigmentation, fine lines, acne, and dullness.

What is BioRePeel?

BioRePeel is a no-downtime, needle-free peel ideal for treating acne, scarring, and early signs of aging. It’s safe year-round and suitable for both face and body.

Can I combine a peel with other services?

Yes. Many clients pair peels with tox or laser treatments to enhance results and reduce downtime overlap.

Laser Treatments (Rohrer Spectrum System) FAQs

What type of laser treatments do you offer?

We use the Rohrer Spectrum system to offer:

Laser hair removal

IPL photofacials (for sun damage, redness, pigmentation)

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Laser hair reduction is long-term and highly effective. Most areas require 6–8 treatments for optimal results.

What is the IPL photofacial good for?

Do I need to use medical grade skincare at home?

Yes. Clinical skincare like ZO Skin Health supports and extends your in-office results. It’s especially effective for treating acne, melasma, aging, and inflammation.

Will you help me choose the right products?

Of course. We’ll build a personalized regimen for you during your appointment or consultation based on your skin’s needs and goals.
